Debate: Endoballoon Versus Transthoracic Clamp

In this debate that occurred at the 2015 SCTS Annual Meeting, two experts discuss the use of the endoballoon versus the transthoracic clamp in minimally invasive mitral valve surgery. Ranjit Deshpande of King’s College Hospital, London, UK, argues for the endoballoon. Paul Modi of the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital, Liverpool, UK, argues for the transthoracic clamp.
