Philippe Dartevelle of Marie Lannelongue Hospital, France, discusses the en bloc resection of NSCLC tumors invading the thoracic inlet and spine. Professor Dartevelle advocates for the resection to be performed by an interdisciplinary team of thoracic and orthopedic surgeons and stresses the importance of preoperative planning for a successful outcome.
