This video demonstrates a novel Norwood reconstruction method performed while maintaining a beating heart. By providing continuous coronary perfusion via an olive-tip cannula throughout the duration of the operation, the technique has been modified to be applicable to even the smallest aortas.

thank you for a good idea. i think you must to do cardioplegia to perform the ventriculotomia for the proximal side of the Sano tube .

Thanks. Actually, no cardioplegia necessary for the proximal Sano either. Still perfusing the coronaries from the innominate artery graft at this point.

I cool to 18C, but not necessary.
