Osler Almon Abbott: The Man, The Award, and His Legacy

In this video, Daniel Miller delivers that 2014 STSA Harold Urschel History Lectureship. Dr. Miller’s topic is Dr. Osler Almon Abbott and his enduring legacy. Dr. Abbott was a founding member of the Emory Clinic in Atlanta, GA, and initiated the thoracic surgery residency program at Emory. He was an active member of the STSA, and the Osler Abbott Award is given in his honor at STSA Annual Meetings.
