Repair of Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Drainage via Bilateral Anterolateral Mini-Thoracotomies

Monday, December 19, 2016

This video demonstrates the repair of partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage of the left side in an 8-year-old boy. The repair was performed less invasively via bilateral anterior mini-thoracotomies. This approach provides excellent visualization of the vertical vein and left atrium, and may be a safer approach, since a sternotomy is not needed.
