SCTS Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland (SCTS) will take place in Glasgow, Scotland, March 18-20, 2018. The meeting is aimed at surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, surgical care practitioners, physiotherapists, child governance leads, database managers, and allied health professionals. It includes the SCTS Ionescu University, which is now the largest cardiothoracic educational program in the UK, and the Cardiothoracic Forum, which is aimed at nurses and allied health professionals. Click here for more information on the SCTS Annual Meeting.

SCTS "Take on the Experts" Session to Stream Live

"Take on the Experts" is an SCTS surgical video competition that will take place on Tuesday, March 20. It will stream live on CTSNet, CTSNet's YouTube channel, and CTSNet's Facebook page. This is the first time CTSNet will be broadcasting a segment of the SCTS Annual Meeting, and CTSNet is very excited to be collaborating with SCTS on this initiative. In this live webcast session, the best four general thoracic and best four cardiac videos will be presented to a team of experts, who will question the presenters and probe their techniques. Be sure to tune in for the 90-minute competition to see each of the excellent videos, and to learn which videos will be awarded the top prizes by the expert panel.
