A 3 cm Single Incision VATS Lobectomy for Lung Cancer [1]

A 54-year-old male consulted for a cough. The computed tomography scan revealed a 3.8 cm mass in the left lower lobe. A bronchoscopy showed a mass in segment 6 of the left bronchus, and a biopsy revealed squamous cell carcinoma. A positron emission tomography scan showed high uptake in the left-lower lobe mass with no lymph node involvement. A single 3 cm incision was used for a VATS left-lower lobectomy and lymph node dissection for non-small cell carcinoma.
