The two-day course includes lectures, case-based presentations, and hands-on, simulation breakout sessions. The purpose of the event is to guide cardiac surgeons in mastering modern-day valve surgery, including all aspects of open and transcatheter valve surgery, including aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valves. Additionally, there is a session dedicated to atrial fibrillation. The workshop covers advanced valve techniques such as aortic root enlargement, Ross, and minimally invasive valve surgery and will feature the transcatheter therapies that the surgeons must know.
