Endoscopic Port-Access MVR Drylab Training: A Closer Look with Peyman Sardari Nia

CTSNet Editor in Chief Joel Dunning spoke with Dr. Peyman Sardari Nia during his port-access mitral valve repair training session at the 2023 EACTS annual meeting. Dr. Sardari Nia, a cardiothoracic surgeon at Maastricht University Medical Center, has been involved in surgical training at EACTS for almost a decade after his model won the Techno-College Innovation Award in 2014. After a quick interview, Dr. Sardari Nia gave a demonstration of a few different ways to use his model for valve repair simulation.
