An Interview with Ryan Azarrafiy: Winner of the 2022 CTSNet Resident Video Competition

CTSNet is excited to announce the winner of the 2022 Resident Video Competition, Ryan Azarrafiy. His submission, “Veno-Venous Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation: Decannulation Technique in the Awake, Spontaneously Breathing Patient,” provides a step-by-step guide to ECMO decannulation, taking care to avoid air embolus.

Watch Dr. Azarrafiy’s discuss his winning video with competition judge Marjan Jahangiri, who is a professor of cardiac surgery at St. George's Hospital, University London and serves as a member on CTSNet’s board of directors.
