This single institution study evalated the effect of prosthesis choice on regression of LV mass after AVR in patients with AS.  The St. Jude Trifecta performed better than the Edwards Perimount Magna Ease in terms of LV mass regression and intermediate-term clinical outcomes such as valve gradients, freedom from readmission, and all-cause mortality.

Interesting data - unfortunately the accuracy of TTE in assessing LV mass is limited. This study needs to be done with cardiac MRI
Quite interesting as perimont magna pericardial valves have long been considered as better choice as regards hemodynamics, alleviation of PPM and LV mass regression lately.
I've been using trifecta valve exclusively since its been available using a simple suture tecnique, I always can get a larger valve in using this suture technique and the gradients are excellent even with a 19
