Cardiac Surgery in Kyiv: An Interview with Glib Yemets

In this exclusive CTSNet Global interview, CTSNet editor in chief Joel Dunning had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Glib Yemets, chief of cardiac surgery at the Ukrainian Children’s Cardiac Center in Kyiv, Ukraine. Dr. Yemets and the members of his clinic have undergone a particularly strenuous and unique set of events over the past year and a half, as their country has endured the onset of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. 

After discussing his personal and surgical experience in the northern capital city during those times and into the present day, Dr. Yemets takes time to discuss the continuing progression of the programs and techniques undertaken by his cardiac clinic, as well as their recently submitted CTSNet video.
