CTSNet Global
Welcome to the new CTSNet Global portal!
Formerly known as CTSNet's Surgical Volunteerism portal, the new CTSNet Global portal has been expanded to provide a wider range of information regarding global cardiothoracic surgery, including global surgical volunteerism, organizations and opportunities, cardiac surgery in low- and middle-income countries, surgical pearls and pitfalls in resource-limited settings, and interviews with global surgeons.
Led by Emily Farkas, MD, associate director of Global Health in Surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine, and joined by Jacques Kpodonu, MD, of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School; Joel Dunning, MD, of the James Cook University Hospital, UK; Malak Elbatarny, MD, of University of Toronto, Canada; and Dominque Vervoort, MD, of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, this portal exemplifies CTSNet's mission to connect the global cardiothoracic community. Organized into five targeted subsections, these rich resources will be continuously updated. Explore the links to the subsections listed below to access the content.
