Robotic Right Lower Lobe Sleeve Resection

Wednesday, November 20, 2019

Cerfolio RJ, Dunning J. Robotic Right Lower Lobe Sleeve Resection. November 2019. doi:10.25373/ctsnet.10308200.

This video demonstrates a patient who underwent a robotic right lower lobe sleeve resection. The patient had a carcinoid tumor in the bronchus intermedius coming from the right lower lobe, which necessitated the division of the bronchus intermedius, the resection of the right lower lobe, and then the suturing of the middle lobe bronchus back onto the bronchus intermedius. This surgery was performed and video narrated by Professor Robert J Cerfolio of NYU Langone Health in New York City.
