At the 2024 EACTS Annual Meeting, Dr. Alice Copperwheat spoke with Kathryn Hewitt and Kathryn Gill about the role and utility of advanced clinical practitioners. They explored the day-to-day roles of clinical practitioners, the benefits of having advanced clinical practitioners, the importance of collaboration between doctors and advanced clinical practitioners, and the training process for clinical practitioners. They also discussed their own professional backgrounds, other types of clinical care professions, and highlights of the meeting.
