The operating surgeons report an elderly female patient with a 7 cm ascending aorta aneurysm. The operating surgeons used a simple Dacron sleeve technique that avoided circulatory arrest and shortened the cross clamp and cardiopulmonary support time. Moreover, the single aortic suture line decreased the haemostasis problem.

Dual incision thoracoscopic (DIT) decortication for stage 2 fibrinopurulent effusion is a further reduction in the invasiveness of thoracoscopy. DIT decortication is less invasive in a patient who is already morbid with infection, and the limited incisions or ports further reduce nerve injury in a relatively crowded rib space.

The authors present a case of a 63-year-old female who developed a large inferior aneurysm following late presentation of myocardial infarction. This rare presentation is discussed with specific regard to imaging and surgical intervention. This patient demonstrates that not all pseudoaneurysms rupture rapidly.

Congenital cystic adenomatoid malformation (CCAM) of the lung is a rare congenital malformation.This anomaly has been rarely described in adults when in association with bronchial and vascular atresia. There are few reports in the literature describing thoracoscopic lobectomy in patients with this unusual anomaly. This video is the first report of a lung resection of a CCAM via a single-port thoracoscopy.
