1st Southeast Asian Regional Congress on Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery

The 1st Southeast Asian Regional Congress on Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery is organised jointly by the Malaysian Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery (MATCVS), the Society of Thoracic Surgeons of Thailand, and the Society of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Surgery of Indonesia. It is held in conjunction with the 20th Annual Scientific Meeting of the MATCVS. The keynote guest lecture on 21 Sept will be delivered by Prof Tirone David. Submission of abstracts are invited for the Young Investigator Award Presentations, Free Paper Presentations and Poster Presentations. On the last day of the Congress, the inaugural Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh - MATCVS Aortic Symposium will be held, featuring key expert speakers from Canada, China, the United Kingdom and Malaysia. Registration includes attendance at the off pump coronary artery bypass surgery and coronary anastomosis workshop, the mechanical circulatory support workshop, or the cardiac advanced life support workshop on the first day, all facilitated by an international expert faculty. An optional excursion to the historic city of Melaka has been organised on the evening of the first day, and a gala dinner on the second day. We look forward to welcoming you to Melaka, Malaysia.
