Pakistan Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons is the only official organization of cardiac and thoracic surgeons in Pakistan registered with Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Federal Board of Revenue. The association is working for the betterment of cardiac facilities across Pakistan and to provide a platform for research and development in cardiac & thoracic field.

This year Annual conference of PACVTS is being hosted by the Cardiac Surgery Department of Punjab Institute of Cardiology. Cardiac Surgery Department of PIC is one of the largest cardiac surgery unit of the country with 9 OT’s and more than 3000 cases were performed last year including adult and pediatric cardiac surgery.
