Register Now for the EACTS 2020 Techno College

Each year, the EACTS Techno College provides an opportunity for cardiothoracic surgeons to learn about new technologies and their integration into common practice. While the delivery mechanism has changed, the opportunity has not! We have an exceptionally strong Techno College lineup planned for EACTS 2020, and are hopeful that you and your heart team are able to set aside time to participate in these exciting discussions.

For 2020, the Techno College will comprise three ninety-minute sessions, featuring live-in-a-box recordings and outward looking invited presentations.

Thursday’s session, starting at 10:30 am CET, will include five cases using minimally invasive, transcatheter, and hybrid techniques to perform valve replacements, CABG, and frozen elephant trunk procedures. Panelists will discuss the cases, the opportunities for personalized procedures, and the advances in imaging technologies that enable safe and effective transcatheter procedures.

On Friday morning at 8:30 am CET, participants will experience four live-in-a-box cases focused on minimally invasive aortic valve repair, beating heart transapical chordal replacement, OPCAB with intracardiac pump support, and transcatheter tricuspid valve replacement. In addition, the program will include three presentations discussing newly developed products and techniques for branched graft arch stenting, subxiphoid ablation with LAA occlusion, and a combination procedure including LV aneurysm repair, CABG, and a mitral valve replacement via a left mini thoracotomy.

At 16:45 CET on Friday afternoon, we will turn our attention to vascular reconstruction in thoracic surgery with complex live-in-a-box cases, including video-assisted double sleeve lobectomy and vascular reconstruction.

Each session will be automatically replayed twelve hours after the live meeting, with instantaneous translation available in sixteen languages. After the replay, sessions will be available on demand in the Media Library.

EACTS members will have access to all of the content for twelve months subsequent to the Annual Meeting.

If you are not a member, join EACTS today to become part of the Global CardioThoracic Community and participate in this year’s event.
