Ancona Live Virtual Course: Minimally Invasive Transcatheter Surgery
In June 2022, a panel of cardiothoracic surgery experts gathered at University Hospital Ospedali Riuniti in Ancona, Italy to discuss minimally invasive and transcatheter surgery. This live virtual course was directed by Professor Marco Di Eusanio. Each session broadcast a surgery from an OR and featured a discussion from surgeons.
The videos that follow are a sampling of the sessions that were featured at the event.
Morning Session, June 6
This video features a session on mini valve sparing root replacement by M. Shrestra and one on FET without circulatory arrest by Prof. Di Eusanio and Dr. Gatta.
Afternoon Session, June 6
This video features a session on TAVI done by surgeons with Dr. Capestro and Dr. Berretta, and trans-axillary sutureless AVR by Dr. U. Kappert.
Morning Session, June 7
This video features a session on percutaneous edge-to-edge repair by Prof. Di Eusanio.
Afternoon Session, June 7
This video features a session on totally endoscopic MVR by Dr. J. Kepfert and one on trans-axillary direct view MVR by Prof. Di Eusanio.
