Filmed at the 2014 STS Annual Meeting, Virginia Litle, past President of the Women in Thoracic Surgery, leads a discussion on the growing role of women in the cardiothoracic surgery specialty. Thank you so much , this was really supportive . I've always wanted to be a cardiac surgeon and I am applying now for a residency program but they keep saying: female can't do it or they will stop at some point and this really disappointed me and I started to think about changing the specialty even though o know i am not gonna be happy doing something else. Thank you doctors
