At the 2024 EACTS Annual Meeting, CTSNet Senior Editor Dr. Lorena Montes spoke with Dr. Diyar Saeed about the guidelines for mechanical circulatory support and ventricular assist devices (VADs). They explained the process of creating guidelines, what the new task forces address, and complete guidelines. They also discussed new insights, tips for left ventricular assist device (LVAD), and the future of VADs.
