At the 10th Annual International Coronary Congress, Dr. Armin Kiankhooy delivered a presentation on “Epicardial Ablation of AF During CABG: Evidence and Video Demonstration of PVI, Encompass, and Convergent Procedures.” He examined concomitant atrial fibrillation and cardiac surgery, treating the spectrum of patients with concomitant atrial fibrillation, box lesion and left atrial appendage occlusion, and the maze procedure. He also discussed fundamentals of non-atriotomy surgical epicardial ablation, critical steps of surgical epicardial ablation, real-world sequencing of epicardial ablation, and real-world multicenter data.
