Implementation of Evidence-Based Practice in CT Surgery Allied Health

Friday, February 24, 2017

In a discussion filmed at the 2016 EACTS Annual Meeting in Barcelona, Spain, a group of experts consider how CT surgery allied health professionals can create an evidence-based practice. Jill Ley of California Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, CA, is joined by Christina Bannister of Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust, Southampton, UK, and Richard Van Valen of Erasmus Medical Center, Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The panelists share examples of how they have used research to engage their teams and improve patient care. They also discuss how to create and obtain funding for new research projects.

Improve your evidence-based practice by viewing protocols and articles in the CTSNet Allied Health Portal.
