MiECTiS 2024 | Penetration of MiECC

In May 2024, the Minimal Invasive Extracorporeal Technologies International Society celebrated its 10-year anniversary in Thessaloniki, Greece. Surgeons from around the world gathered to discuss MiECC in clinical practices and MiECC technology. Watch for more MiECTiS 2024 videos in the coming weeks.

At the Minimal Invasive Extracorporeal Technologies International Society 2024 conference, leading surgeons delivered presentations on the penetration of minimally invasive extracorporeal circulation (MiECC). H. Jenni presented “The Swiss Experience,” highlighting clinics using MiECC, the University Hospital of Bern, and pulmonary artery versus pulmonary vein venting. Tatiana Averina discussed “Penetration of MiECC in Russia,” examining the experience of MiECC usage in Russian clinics, microcirculation parameters, and semi-closed type III MiECC circuit in TAA reconstruction.
