Pascale Vouhe is Professor Pediatric Heart surgery at the Necker Hospital for sick children in Paris. He is the immediate Past President of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery and has been part of many publications including the ESC guidelines on the management of grown up congenital heart disease, the creation of the Aristotle scoring system for pediatric surgery and many papers on the switch operation for transposition of the great arteries which is the subject of this interview.
