A. Pieter Kappetein is a professor at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He has established himself as a cardiac, thoracic, and transplant surgeon. Currently, Dr. Kappetein is Secretary General of EACTS, Secretary of CTSNet, and a principal investigator of the SYNTAX and EXCEL studies.
