SCTS 2024 | “Minimally Invasive and Endoscopic AF Ablation” With Timo Weimar

Friday, August 16, 2024

In March 2024, the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery in Great Britain and Ireland brought together surgeons from around the world to discuss CT surgery topics and share knowledge. Watch for more SCTS 2024 videos in the coming weeks.

At the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery Annual Meeting 2024, Professor Timo Weimar presented "Minimally Invasive and Endoscopic AF Ablation." In his presentation, he discussed access limitations in minimally invasive surgery and the fact that access needs to follow optimal therapy to deliver the acceptable current standard of care. He highlighted the importance of using the appropriate procedure for the right patient and not sacrificing the right procedure just for the incision.
