Surgery for Pleural Sepsis
Alper Toker of Istanbul University Medical School, Istanbul, Turkey, delivers a talk on the surgical options for treating pleural sepsis. Dr. Toker discusses the recent shift in the treatment of empyema, including a more liberal use of VATS and the application of minimally invasive interventions at an earlier stage of the process.
