Video-Assisted Inferior Epigastric Artery Harvesting
The inferior epigastric artery has been used as an alternative arterial conduit in coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Harvesting the inferior epigastric artery requires a long single or double abdominal paramedian incision. This video demonstrates the authors’ approach to using a transverse suprapubic incision, as previously described (1). A minimally invasive approach utilizing a single port technique is then shown.
