Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Advances in Thoracic Surgical Oncology CME course on October 6-7, 2017 at Rockefeller Research Laboratories.
Physicians and allied health professionals will improve their understanding of contemporary, minimally invasive surgical approaches to lung and esophageal cancers. The course will help participants to appreciate the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating thoracic malignancies and to understand the roles of thoracic surgery in the era of targeted therapy.
This course is comprised of lectures and interactive audience participation encouraging the intellectual exchange of ideas between faculty and participants. Additionally, this year's program will feature interactive hands-on workshops.
Educational Objectives:
- Improve the understanding of contemporary surgical approaches, including minimally invasive techniques for lung and esophageal cancers.
- Appreciate the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to diagnosing and treating thoracic malignancies.
