New App Available: iCardiac Surgery

iCardiac Surgery is a new moble app designed to teach practical surgical skills through simulation. The first module is focused on long saphenous vein harvest, and is available for iOS. This app serves as a simulation teaching strategy for acquisition and optimization of the fundamental surgical skill of vein harvesting, a procedure typically undertaken by junior physicians and surgical practitioners. The ultimate aim of this app is to improve patient safety and reduce the risk of harm to patients.
