The RV-PA conduit or Sano modification, has recently been reintroduced into the Norwood armamentarium. Many centers, however, have been experiencing conduit obstruction with the Sano. This video demonstrates a modification of the technique used for the RV-PA conduit that has reduced the incidence of conduit obstruction at our institution.

Anomalous right coronary artery arising from the left aortic sinus is a rare malformation, which is known to be associated with an increased risk of sudden death. Acute Type A aortic dissections can be challenging entities for cardiac surgeons and require close follow-up secondary to their propensity for aneurismal degeneration. A combined open and endovascular technique is described for treating the inital dissection and resultant complications.
