One of the main worries with aortic valve-in-valve procedures (ViV) is coronary occlusion. This is a devastating complication with a greater than 50 percent mortality rate. This video describes a surgical alternative to the interventional Basilica procedure in a high-risk patient for ViV because of a very low coronary implantation.
