This video presents a uniportal video-assisted thoracic surgery left lower posterobasal anatomic segmentectomy S10. The segmentectomy uses the inferior approach, which is less difficult technically because it avoids the fissure dissection of the bronchovascular elements. When the fissure is incomplete, this inferior approach is the best approach.

This is a video of thoracic surgeon Joel Dunning’s dream operating room. He was able to bring an intraoperative CT scanner called the Cios-Spin into his robotic theater so he can mark nodules himself prior to robotic resection.

A forty-seven-year-old woman presented multiple times with a reoccurring bronchopleural fistula and post-pneumonectomy multi-drug resistant empyema. In challenging cases like this, a multidisciplinary approach between thoracic and plastic surgery is imperative.

Sternal dehiscence without mediastinitis is a rare and relatively benign complication after cardiac surgery. However, it may cause severe discomfort for a patient. Traditional approaches include the Robicsek technique and its modifications. In this video the authors present less invasive approach for chronic partial sternal separation using titanium implants.

This video shows a robotic en bloc resection of right upper lobe, lower lobe superior segment, and parts of the middle lobe for multiple instances of cancer in the right lung with incomplete fissure.

This video demonstrates a minimally invasive thymomectomy for a large Type AB thymoma in a fifty-six-year-old patient without myasthenia gravis.

Redo sternotomy in pediatric cardiac surgery can be made less risky by putting the patient on peripheral bypass using iliac vessels which allow for bigger sized cannulae than femoral vessels, and it is technically simpler. This video gives a visual example of how to do this.

The sternum is an important component of the axial skeleton. This video shows a patient who underwent sternal resection and reconstruction for sternal chondrosarcoma using a triple mesh technique.
