Robotic Sleeve Left Lower Lobectomy With V-Lock Suture and Subxiphoid Removal
Tuesday, November 15, 2016
This is a video of a robotic left lower lobe sleeve lobectomy. A 4.0 V-lock suture is used to perform the anastomosis, which is a barbed suture with an eyelet at the end to reduce the requirement for knot tying. A subxiphoid port is used to remove the lobe. The patient went home two days after surgery.
