Neurological status was assessed pre- and postoperatively assessed by neurologists, postoperatively by MRI and strokes were evaluated according to the National Institutes of Health Stroke Sscale.

This study assessed whether the application of a poly based hydrogel containing amioderone applied to the epicardium at the time of surgery reduced the incidence of post-operative atrial fibrillation. This multi-centre registry study assessed peri-operative and long-term outcomes in patients who underwent isolated surgical aortic valve replacement (AVR) who had previous undergone coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG).
